I had to laugh when my wife read to me the letter to the editor Public oil company needed, by David Sutch in The Western News.
We have a great spectrum of economic dreamers in our town, who want to solve the worlds problems. That is great, but let me tell you this will never happen in our life time.
Let me give you three reasons. Reason No. 3, we are a democratic society. Reason No. 2, we are not a dictatorship and don’t want Adolf back to fix the oil business.
And now for reason No. 1, which we can never change free trade. The NAFTA agreement has Canada in a straight jacket thanks to a famous prime minister. I suggest send a copy of your letter to our present prime minister for his consideration.
