The Penticton Vees will play a trio of games before their B.C. Hockey League title defence officially gets underway on Sept. 23 against the Trail Smoke Eaters.
As part of the league’s preseason schedule released on Tuesday, July 12, the Vees have been penned to play the Vernon Vipers twice, first at home on Sept. 9 and then on the road on Sept. 16.
Penticton will move on to host the Chilliwack Chiefs on Sept. 17 during the Vancouver Canucks’ Young Stars Classic at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
The Vees’ exhibition showdown with the Chiefs will start at 2 p.m.
Single-game ticket information for exhibition and regular-season matchups will be announced at a later date.
Season tickets for the 2022-2023 campaign, however, are currently on sale.
Penticton is looking to win back-to-back Fred Page Cups for the first time in the Fred Harbinson era.
Since taking over behind the bench in 2007, Harbinson has led the Vees to five BCHL championships.
