Saints not good to Lakers

Pen High Lakers take road loss to South Kamloops in AAA Okanagan senior girls league play

The Pen High Lakers senior girls basketball team lost 68-53 against the South Kamloops Titans on Jan. 19.

Lakers co-coach Lesley Lacroix said the team couldn’t handle the Titans’ full-court press that resulted in the Lakers turning the ball over 38 times, 22 in the opening half. Celine Francisco led offensively with 13 points and four steals. Chloe Brydon and Lyndzie Caron each scored 12 points. The Lakers were off this week for exams. They play in a Kelowna tournament this weekend.
