The Summerland Scorch under-16 C girls fast ball team are district 9 champs. The Scorch burned its way through the opposition to go undefeated in District Playodowns last weekend in Sicamous. They earned hard-fought wins against the Penticton Power in the semifinal and Kelowna Angels for the championship. The Scorch will go to Kamloops for provincials July 3-5.
