The Bar One Argo Bisons shutout the Best Damn Wings 7-0 in the Penticton Men’s Rec Hockey League.
Dave Coombes recorded the shutout for the Bisons with Dan Fraser netting a hat-trick. Other goal scorers for the Bisons were Kiel Gatenby (2), Sam Gill and Kyle Fraser.
The Bisons then defeated the EcoDry Ice Dogs 9-6. Fraser scored four goals to lead the team to the win, Gatenby added two and singles from Josh Van Troyen, Johnathan Spence and Gill. Trevor Aubie responded for the Ice Dogs with four goals of his own and singles from Morgan Kraiger and Mitch Aubie.
The Peacock’s Perch Wolverines narrowly defeated the Ice Dogs 6-5. Wolverines goal scorers were Kevin Borba, Tyler Janzen, Andy McGinn, Ryan Sjoberg, Jamie Britton and Aric Stickney. Mitch Aubie potted two goals for the Ice Dogs with singles from Darren Leadbetter, Darren Belanger and Nick Riep.
