McClure nets two, including winner to lead Vees to victory

Vees improve to 5-1-0 win 5-3 win against the Warriors

Without Wade Murphy and Louie Nanne, the Penticton Vees swept their weekend matches by downing the West Kelowna Warriors 5-3. Brade McClure tallied the winning goal at 11:19 of the third period, he then added an empty netter. Rookie Cam Amantea opened the scoring for the Vees who had built up a 3-1 lead. The Warriors clawed back in to tie it at three on goals by Matt Anholt and David Pope. Chad Katunar got the start in goal for the Vees and made 27 saves.
