The Penticton Potters’ Guild recently held a fundraiser for the Penticton Legion. Guild members created unique, handmade ceramic poppies, and through donations, raised more than $1,000, with net proceeds of $965 to the Penticton Legion Poppy campaign. The Legion expressed their gratitude for this donation to their cause.
On behalf of the Penticton Potters’ Guild, I’d like to send thanks to participating members, and to the Dragon’s Den for providing a place to sell the poppies. We are all grateful to live in a community with such a generous nature.
