Penticton Vees forward Connor MacPherson has cracked Central Scouting’s final rankings ahead of the 2024 NHL Draft, set for June 28 and 29 in Las Vegas.
MacPherson, 19, posted 42 points in 54 games during his rookie BCHL season in
Central Scouting has him ranked 195th among North American skaters. That projects him as a seventh-round pick in the upcoming draft.
The Ontario-born forward scored two goals in four games during Vees’ first-round sweep of the Prince George Spruce Kings.
MacPherson came to Penticton with his twin brother, Ryan MacPherson. The two combined for 80 points in 54 games this season, after Ryan was selected by the Philidelphia Flyers in the sixth round of the 2023 NHL Draft.

The Vees are off until Friday, April 19, when the second round of the BCHL Playoffs begins at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
Penticton will play either the Vernon Vipers or Cranbrook Bucks in the playoffs’ next round.
