A slide has closed Beaverdell Road east of Penticton and no detour is currently available.
According to AIM Roads, a section of the road slid away, and the road will be closed for the foreseeable future.
The point of the slide is far east of Penticton, past the Penticton Speedway, and west of the Ellis Creek Dam close to the Forest Service Road.
