Get creative this holiday this season and design a jersey that will be worn by the Penticton Vees all December long.
The team is calling on fans to design a holiday-themed sweater, with the winning entry set to be Penticton’s on-ice look for every pre-game warm up next month.
Players will be wearing two different colours on the ice after the winning design has been selected. Half of the team will be in full green jerseys, while the other half will be in red.
Designs are due no later than Nov. 25.
The team is asking fans to get creative on the crest, shoulders and waist areas of the jersey.
Other criteria for the submitted designs, according to the Vees, includes:
• The design will be all white
• Must include the Vees logo
• No thin/delicate lines
• Readable
The Vees play seven games next month, including two at home against the West Kelowna Warriors on Dec. 3 and 30, and one against the Wenatchee Wild on Dec. 16.
Fans are asked to submit their final designs to amanda@pentictonvees.com.
In its contest announcement, the team attached a “design your jersey” link, with a sample of what fans will use to build their designs.
