Ice Cube has landed in Penticton and is ready to perform to a sell-out crowd on Feb. 21.

This will be the first time Ice Cube plays the South Okanagan Events Centre as he brings his Straight into Canada Tour to the Peach City. It sold out in record time.

Penticton and Abbotsford were his only two stops in B.C.

The SOEC is warning guests that only small-size clutch-style purses will be allowed, there is no smoking in the building, and there will be limited $20 parking available.

As part of the legendary California hip-hop group N.W.A in the 1980s, Ice Cube penned lyrics on songs like “Straight Outta Compton”, and Check Yo Self, It was a Good Day and F*@*! the Police.

He has since sold more than 10 million records as a solo recording artist, while also starring in movies like ‘Are We There Yet?’ ‘Boyz n the Hood’ and appeared in the 21 Jump Street franchise.

Ice Cube will be joined on the Penticton stage by DJ Kav, who will serve as the show’s guest.

If you didn’t snag tickets to the show — come to the after-party at The Hub on Martin. They’ll be open until 2 a.m. and have a seating capacity of 195.

Owners at The Hub have extended the invitation to Ice Cube as well in hopes he will show up.
